Bersama Film Festival is almost here!

On August 15 & 16, we welcome Bersama Film Festival to our cinema: three days of documentaries and feature films exploring the colonial past, migration, family, and identity, stories that still resonate deeply with the Moluccan and Indies community in the Netherlands.

The lineup includes the beloved Meer dan Babi Pangang, alongside Buitenkampers, Contractpensions, Anak Indië, De Indische Tafel, and Tussen Wal en Schip, plus well-known titles like The Act of Killing and Batik, Beats & Bumbu (whose premiere we had the honor of hosting), and many more.

Four years after No Way Home, Peter Parker is starting over completely alone: no friends and no family who remember him, just a city to protect.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is showing at Cinema The Pulse from this Thursday, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi), starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, and Sadie Sink in her MCU debut as Jean Grey.

Happy Pride! 🌈
A week ago, we had the pleasure of hosting the Midnight Ambiguous Zone programme here at Cinema The Pulse, with two screenings: The Last Year of Darkness and Blue Gate Crossing.

For The Last Year of Darkness, we hosted our very first-ever live video call with the director , a special first for us, and a great way to bring the audience even closer to the film.

Thank you to for bringing this program to us, to the director for joining us live, to moderator for a conversation we won't forget, and to everyone who came out to watch, listen, and celebrate with us.

🎬 The Christophers — Now Screening

Steven Soderbergh is back and he brought the cast to prove it.

Sir Ian McKellen plays Julian Sklar, a once-celebrated London artist who withdrew from the art world years ago. When his estranged children hire young painter and former art forger Lori Butler (Michaela Coel) to pose as his assistant and gain access to his unfinished works, what starts as a scheme slowly becomes something far more interesting: a subtle psychological duel between master and apprentice.

From tomorrow, we're screening three Tati classics with Dutch subtitles, all in 4k restoration: Mon Oncle, Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot and Jour de Fête.
