Whether you like it or not, your life is not your own; one day you will return to the dust where you came from. Or can you tell how you came to being? Everything, both seen and unseen, rises and falls on the God's desk.
Every man, regardless of religion or race must know and accept the fact that we are ordinary, useless, worm, and of no reputation, expect for the breath and glory of God in us.

Crave the grace of God to bear all things (pains, prosecutions, lack, etc.) for the sake of Christ who gave us His life that we may live now and in eternity with Him. By doing this, we are sure of enjoying His unstoppable blessings and remarkable interventions, now and ultimately, eternal bliss with Him in the end. May we not miss it. Amen.

PRAYER
★ Lord, I surrender my life completely to You; do all You desire with it.

This world of today will come to an end very soon because of her iniquities, immoralities and vanities which are great before God, and most would hear the Word of life but neglect it. Some also, like Lot's wife, would hear but the cares of life would draw them back from escaping the destruction coming upon the children of disobedience.
As the world nears its end, it is a pity that some who were once saved will backslide and apostaties.

The world offers notting good, though many appear glittery. Don't settle for the perishable and corruption of this world. God warns us to come out of them and be separated as we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. *All these things* that we need shall be added to us, by Him who knows our needs more than we can ever discern them.
Run out of, and be saved from this perverse generation!

PRAYER
★ Lord, help not to perish with this world of iniquity.
★ Holy Spirit, make it possible for me to run away from everything You hate, without looking back to, and at them.
★ Pray for Christians who are under grief...

There is no situation too old, critical, or bad for Christ to handle. What is the age of your present situation/challenge? Look at how Jesus intervened in the situation of the man at Bethesda (John 5). The age of his own problem was even more than that of the woman with 38 years of infirmity. How long did it take Jesus to lift him out of the infirmity? How long did it take God to deliever the Israelites from the slavery of centuries?

Jesus is more than capable to settle your situation, the age of your predicament, notwithstanding. All He needs from you is to cooperate with Him in terms of accepting His lordship and being where He desires you to be at the right time. Your miracle is now, in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER
★ Lord Jesus, I praise You, for I know and believe You are bigger than all issues in my life.
★ Lord, prove Your supremacy over every trying and threatening situation in my life, now in Jesus name.
★ Lord, let there be still peace in all aspects of my life in Jesus name.

Gilead was notes for the healing balm and wonderful physicians. Balm of Gilead was a substance of uncertain identification used in the near East as a medicine. It did not grow in Gilead, but it may have received its name from being sent to Egypt and Phoenicia from Gilead.

The substance supposedly had antiseptic and other healing qualities. It became worrisome that the people of God did not enjoy healing even with the healing balm. Why? This is the question raised by Jeremiah.
Many factors could have been responsible for this ugly situation. That you have been praying and there is no answer could be because of sin in your life. The success you are praying for, and is not forth coming, could be because of your carelessness. The ugly situation you are passing through could be because of many things. It is left to you to search yourself and discover the why. What could the barrier be? You should be ready to go to God for answer to your issue.

If the balm in Gilead cannot bring the expected healing to God's people, then why? As a child of God, blessed with the name and blood of Jesus (Original Balm of Gilead), God's Word, and the Holy Spirit Power, why are you still experiencing unwanted situations? There is need to understand the situation you are in, ruminate over it, search your mind if there is any sin, repent appropriately, and call on God for solution.

PRAYER
★ Lord, open my eyes to areas in my life where I need amendments and outright transformation to enjoy Your healing.
★ Lord Jesus, heal me totally from the deadly grip of sin.
★ Our land needs Your healing, O Lord, from blood guilt arising from the shedding of innocent blood Visit us once again and heal our land.

Simon became a burden bearer, a helper in Christ precarious situation. He provided the support Christ needed in his moment of his travail and torture in the hands of people he had come to save and reconcile to God. In response, the scriptures command us to: Bear one another’s burden, andso fulfil the law of Christ (Gal. 6:2).

While Peter was imprisoned by Herod, the church made unceasing prayers to God, bearing his burden until his case received divine intervention (Acts12). Today’s church is lacking in care for one another. The church in Jerusalem had all things in common… neither was any among them lacked because they all were burden bearers. The brethren sacrificed their personal possessions and brought the proceeds to the church to meet needs of others.

Are you a burden bearer?Can God count on you in all seasons to meet the needs of brethren, or will you be self-centred in your journey of life?

PRAYER
★Lord, burden my heart to meet the needs of those who lack.
★Make me a blessing to others in all seasons, in Jesus name.

Choice-making with regard to marriage partners is very crucial in life’s journey, hence the indispensability of choosing at once; because, in marriage, God is involved, and His people are witnesses. Therefore, there is no room for divorce.

For you to determine whom you would spend the rest of your life with, and have a fulfilled marital destiny, you have to know who and what you are;
- The acknowledgement and acceptance of responsibility.
- The knowledge of your personality and character is critical to the eventual process of ‘leaving and cleaving’.
- In your best interest, what you are should determine what you desire.

Compatibility is therefore a key factor in this regard. When a single person wants to marry, there are certain preparations he or she must make. As a true child of God, you must first seek the face of God in prayers. You need God’s guidance in locating your Mr/Mrs Right. Very importantly, your choice of life partner must be a ‘Kingdom citizen’ (2Cor. 6:14-18). God CAN NEVER tell you to marry a non-Christian.

As a child of God, there is the need to settle your marital destiny in the spiritual before attempting it in the physical. Doing this commands the physical aspect to fall into place, with ease. In essence, you cannot pursue the security of your marital destiny carnally (Rom. 8:6). Carnality leads into the belly of the Delilahs of this world, ask Samson.
God showed His interest in marriage by physically fashioning the woman (Eve) and delivering her to her husband (Adam).

The union of man and woman in marriage is not man’s idea, neither is it a mere cultural or traditional affair; it is God’s own idea (Gen. 2:20-24). Every child of God needs The Manufacturer’s manual, The Word of God, for the foundation of your marital destiny. When you remove God from your affairs, you cannot expect any progress. God’s Word says, For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.

PRAYER
★ O Lord, help our youths to get it right in making marital choices.
★ Pray for bachelors and spinsters who are overdue for marriage, for the grace to wait for God until He gives them their Mr/Mrs Rights.
★ O Lord, deliver our children from every spirit and influence of lust.

Success in any endeavour is a function of attitude. An 'anyhow' attitude can only culminate in an 'anyhow' result. Only an intense commitment and personal responsibility culminates in outstanding success (Eccl. 9:10). Deliberately make the right (godly) investments into your life, in all areas. Spiritually, establish a strong relationship with God through His Word and fervent prayer life. This will no doubt enhance your spiritual stamina, which will be an advantage to you in times when you need to make choices in life. You are a kingdom asset; you are bought with a price tag.

Importantly, infuse light into your quest for a glorious future through a conscious and genuine thirst for increase in the knowledge of God in the right atmosphere.
Position yourself rightly for the light of God's Word to dispel every form of darkness around you. This is your guarantee for a life free from shame and reproach.

PRAYER
★ Holy Spirit, guide me into making right choices at all times, and in all situations.
★ Father, let Your kingdom rest in my heart, so that I can do Your biddings as I make choices, all my life.
★ Pray for ripe-to-marry, that God should help them with their choices of life partners, so that they don't live to regret their actions.

Saul of Tarsus once had a filthy soul; the soul that orchestrated evil like every other carnal person. He was so wicked that he did everything to frustrate the Christians, thinking he was fighting for Yahweh. That is characteristic of the filthy soul. It is clear from God's Word that the best that man's soul can think, plan, and execute is evil. Cain planned and killed his blood brother because of his filthy soul (Gen. 4:6,7).

In the case of Saul, there was thunder and lightning in his soul. He recognised how wretched he was when the light of God shone on his filthy heart. That experience resulted in him becoming one of the excellent model of passion for the gospel of Christ, which he had previously attacked, as he surrendered all to the Owner of the universe.

Who really knows how bad the heart of man is? No one, except God. Yielding to the temptation of sin makes man's heart stinks. Unless and until we allow the Holy Spirit rule our hearts, we will not be able to overcome such situation, and this will make our hearts stink. When we allow God to rule our hearts, He takes care of the deceitfulness and the wickedness in us.

PRAYER
★ Call upon God who knows and sees through man's heart to purge you of all filthiness, and purify your heart for Him and His purposes.
★ Pray that God will help you never to yield to temptation of sin and will give you the grace to overcome it.

The defeated Philistines, some of whom were put to flight, abandoned their gods as they fled. Such idols, if left untouched or undealt with could become snares to the people in the future. Allowing them to remain could suggest David's subtle love for, and interest in them. Moreover, if the idols were left there, it is likely the people could have resorted to them for pleasure, or in pain/problems, and that could have incurred God's wrath on them.

The above must have informed why David quickly commended his men to burn them with fire. Allowing the devil and his instruments to stay and fester/flourish is tantamount to committing su***de in the cruellest and crudest way (Eph. 4:27). Those who have tried that in the past had themselves to blame. Beware of those things that come in the wake of your victories/successes. Not all of these are God-glorifying. Be discerning, and never be careles, lest you be ensnared by gods (idols in whatever forms) the defeated enemies left behind to ensnare you (2 Cor. 2:11).

PRAYER
★ Thank God for the victories, successes and breakthroughs He has been granting you.
★ Pray for the grace to be sensitive enough not to fall in the devil's traps.
★ Pray for the Church to be discerning enough as not to fall into snares the so-called 'big catches' can set before her after 'conversion.'

Notwithstanding the claims of cessation of miracle, or non-existence at all, there is no better way to explain the feeding of about 5000 men with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes, with leftovers totalling 12 baskets, than it being the miracle of God. Your own miracle is on the way from the unchanging God.
Miracle would cease, if God ceases to be, and that is not going to happen. Evidently, God exists; we see Him in all His creations, and His deeds prove Him TRUE, REAL, POWERFUL, and RELIABLE.

God who has the best interest of man at heart, commanded man to be fruitful and multiply on earth. That is God's agenda for man. What happens to your soul here and hereafter is of paramount importance to your Creator. Ever before Adam and Eve's fall from under that covenant, God had made an everlasting provision in Christ Jesus to restore man to Himself (Gen. 3:21). We saw that the same command He gave man in Genesis 1:28 was repeated in 9:1. When God eventually adopted Israel as His own people, He re-echoed the command to Abraham. The covenant became permanently sealed in the course of Abraham's walk with God, when he willingly offered Isaac, his only son, to God.

The key to enjoying God's covenant blessing, prosperity, peace, and everlasting priesthood, like Phinehas, is your obedience and commitment to God. You must exhibit the multiplication and increase in your life as a believer, because it is your heritage and birthright. Therefore, you have no excuse to be wallowing in poverty.
However, sin can terminate this great purpose and agenda of God in your life. Jesus operated under this principle and He was able to feed the multitude. He multiplied Himself and fulfilled God's purpose.

PRAYER
★ Lord, make me a blessing to my generation, and never a liability.
★ Lord I receive the grace to lead more people to You by my life.
★ The spirit of diminishing return die in all our churches in Jesus' name.

God knows every thought of the heart of man for He created us. In order to have a heart, free from depraved thoughts, we must fill our hearts daily with the Word of God in order to counter every evil/corrupt thought, whether those originating from within us, or from the enemy of our souls.

In case those corrupt thoughts want to raise their ugly heads in you, resist and reject them immediately by the power of Jesus. Also, learn to control what your eyes see and what your ears, hear. As we work hard to keep our outward appearance attractive, let us also work on our hearts to keep it free of depraved thoughts. Victory or defeat starts from the HEART. Be warned.

PRAYER
★ Lord, purge my heart of every corrupt and unwholesome thoughts.
★ Pray that God will create a new and clean heart in you, and give you the grace to pay attention to daily purification of your heart.
