An Indian man named "Dulal Giri Ji Maharaj" decided to drop out of university and embrace a religious life, vowing himself to one thing only: standing forever.

The reason?
This religious practice will eventually lead him to see the Hindu god (Mahadev), according to his belief.

This allegedly; Some reports say that for 12 years now, he has been in this state; he has not sat or slept on the ground but sleeps standing up using a support.

In the clip, one of the volunteers is cleaning his legs by applying topical ointments and disinfectants to help reduce the swelling and care for the health condition resulting from years of prolonged standing.

It is mentioned that the Indian "Dulal Giri Ji Maharaj" has not yet seen the aforementioned god to this day.

Veteran Nollywood actor Nkem Owoh, popularly known as "Osuofia" while speaking in an interview, has revealed the true Pioneers of Nollywood in Nigeria.

He revealed that when Nollywood started many years ago, it was not known as Nollywood. In fact, there was no name for it until he and other actors who were already in the movie industry sat down together and decided to come up with a name, then one of them suggested the name Nollywood which they had to consider for a very long time before adopting it.

Osuofia went on to clearly state that the two people who pioneered what Nigerians now know today as Nollywood are Mike Orihedimma and Uwaezuoke.
He said both of them started their acting careers in Onishta, ochanja market to be precise. They would go to the market to act as funny characters and buyers and sellers in the market would watch them and laugh.
At a point, they decided to package their craft, so they started recording the acts and put them in a video tape, which they would sell to people in the market.
Osuofia also mentioned that the person who sponsored them was no more.

Still speaking on this, Osuofia said when they started recording their films in video tapes and selling them it became a hot cake in the market and in Nigeria.
He added that Ken Nnebue took advantage of the massive attention the video tapes were getting and decided to make movies in an advanced form, which led to the production of the hit movie "Living in Bo***ge".

Osuofia said he even got involved with the sponsor of Mike Orihedimma and Uwaezuoke and they wanted to work together. But he told him that they would have to make the movie in an advanced form. He was asked by the sponsor to write a movie script in which he included settings like police and a supermarket, people advised the sponsor not to go with his script because it was as if the script was moving from the original pattern to another niche entirely, so the idea d!ed down.
Osuofia added that he later worked as an actor with the sponsor on a movie set.

"As a pioneer, I would say that, this is the source of Nollywood. Although the Yorubas were doing what they called "slap-sic" comedy which they performed in weddings and other occasions. They had even gotten to a stage where they were already using sophisticated cameras to shoot their performances before we came up with our own and that was where the competition started".

Osuofia added finally that these were the events that led to the creation of Nollywood although there were people who had started acting before the colonial masters came but, it was Mike Orihedimma and Uwaezuoke that were the founders and pioneers of what is currently called Nollywood.

Here is how I got fired from a Netflix Project by making a very simple mistake.
I got contacted to be a camera operator on a Netflix project called Maftown Heights Documentary.
A day before the project started i was called for briefing and technical specifications for the project, they said they project will be delivered to Netflix in 4k but they needed the footage to shot at 6k 24fps, they gave me the camera, lights, sliders memory cards etc
Next day we drove 6hrs to the location
I set everything up and started filming, the first guest was Nadia Nakai, and other celebrities like Casper Nyovest, Khuli Chana, Nomzamo Mbata and many others
After setting up the camera we were ready to Roll
1min after yhe shoot the camera stopped, I said cut let's do another take, then the same thing happened, I realized that the memory card writing speed couldn't write 6k,
I checked all the other memory cards but it was the same story...
Everyone started asking me what's going on and I was like it's nothing just give me a minute
Then I changed resolution from 6k to 4k and everything went smoothly
I shot everything so good and in my heart I was like this is it
When we returned, I gave them footage and told them I ended up shooting in 4k because the cards writing speed was too slow for 6k, guess what they just deleted all the files without even looking at it and told me I should have called them, they could have arranged memory cards
And they fired me from the whole project.
That's when I started taking these things like Framerates, resolutions, Codecs etc seriously
