Dadi Cinema

Established in 2000 with movies as its core business, Dadi Media evolved to be an integrated cultural entertainment business platform, from the humble start as Dadi Records in the 90s. The company name derived from Hong Kong renowned band, Beyond's famous song, "Da Di" (大地). In 20 years, Dadi Media has evolved into a fully integrated industry chain platform, consisting of Dadi Film (movie investment & production), Dadi Movie (movie distribution, cinema franchising & management), Dadi Cinema Group (cinema investment & operation), Wow Dadi (animation development & IP operation), and ShiDai (cinema advertising). Currently the second-largest cinema chain in China with 2,936 screens in 191 locations throughout China**, Dadi Cinema Group comprises five brands, namely Dadi Cinema, Orange Sky Golden Harvest (OSGH), iFree Cineplex, ZMAX Cinema, and WEIN. Since the opening of the first cinema, Dadi Cinema Group is dedicated to offering top quality viewing experiences to its patrons, using top-notch projection equipment, and continuously staying at the forefront of technology. In May 2016, Dadi Cinema Group launched its very own laser screen brand, Star Max - a cinematic journey under the stars with an immersive movie viewing experience. The innovation continues as Dadi Cinema Group initiated the “movie + innovative culture” project in 2017 and has since held music concerts inside the cinema hall. In 2021, Dadi Cinema Group started its very first overseas expansion, bringing the Dadi Cinema brand to Malaysia. Dadi Cinema is dedicated to innovating the experience you watch movies.
