The Shiga Location Office is an organization established by the Shiga Prefectural Government and the municipal governments in Shiga, aiming for promotin
g and supporting on-location shoots for movies, dramas, and other image works. The goal of these activities is to invite tourists and promote regional development in cooperation with Shiga residents, by promoting the attraction of the "Lake Country" Shiga through these works.
