We can now Sim-Unlock the new InfoBar XV, so we have listed it on our store.

The original designer / creator of the first InfoBar, has returned for the 15 year anniversary, and this new InfoBar XV is inspired by the original released in 2003.

The phone is based on Android system. While of course is not a Full Android device, we can still put app markets on the phone and pre-install apps for you (if you request).

I would say this phone is for someone who wants something simple, but a unique design.

Charging Dock stand is included, and can be rotated to the side. Simcard removal pin, is also in the shape of the InfoBar phone design. And yes the phone has a strap hole. Enjoy

Kyocera KY-01L Card Keitai (Card sized Phone)

Kyocera KYF36 Kantan Keitai (Flip Phone for Elders)

The KY-01L and NichePhone-S, are both very compact phones. One has a touchscreen using E-Paper, and the other has a physical keypad. Both screens are black and white. These are meant to be used 90% of the time for voice calls and texting. Internet access and WiFi and Bluetooth are on the devices.

The KYF36 Kantan keitai (Kantan means Simple / Easy in Japanese), this model is designed for the elderly or older generation. It has larger fonts, easier to push buttons, emergency buzzer, louder sound from the earpiece, and lots of lightups / illuminations on the keypad. Also its built tough, with shockproof / drop proof and waterproof. This one is based on Android, and you can run apps on it.

More phones available now.

Have the Mode1 Retro, which is an Android flip phone. Has a full Android OS on it, touchscreen, removable battery, Quad-Core, etc. It has a carbon looking design on the body. So if you are looking for an Unlocked Flip Android, this might suit your needs.

Also have up the Aquos R2 SHV42, which was released by AU KDDI cellular network here in Japan. Its the exact same as the Sharp SH-03K Aquos R2 released through Docomo, but there is 1 new color choice : Aquamarine. Kind of a greenish blue color. It also works with Sharp's RoboQul AI Docking stand.

Sharp has released a video about their next flagship phone.

Calling it the Aquos Zero, its apparently going to be the world's lightest weight phone, while still having high end specs. Apparently the back of the phone is constructed using Aramid, which is a strong but light weight synthetic fiber (used for military / aerospace applications).

Its also going to be using Sharp's new OLED display at 6.2inches. They will be actually decreasing the body size from the current R2, but increasing the screen size. So you get more screen on a smaller body.

Unfortunately, no Dual camera on it, but this is still a concept movie, so maybe they will switch it to a Dual camera before it officially releases.

With the upcoming 15th Anniversary of the InfoBar, AU KDDI Japan is releasing a new InfoBar phone called the InfoBar XV

Its designed more like the original first few Infobars, where its back to a physical keypad.

I believe its going to have an Android based OS, but it will be like the Flip phones we have now in Japan, where the Android OS is not a Full Android OS.

Still means you can probably put apps on it.

I don't think the specs will be very crazy for the phone. I am sure they are targeting people who to buy it for its design and simplicity.

More will be known once it releases ^__^
