“Welcome to Italy” is a new cinematographic project, which highlights the most popular stereotypes about Italy and its people. Humorous “image of Italy” is represented by Italian’s own view on themselves and their country as well as by view of tourists on Italy and its world famous features. re a wide range of approaches to Italian culture and mentality: from titanic laziness and inherent passion for spaghetti… to crazy driving and mad love. During the Show the audience spends one normal day in Italy (from early morning until late night) together with “average” Italian, his ordinary way of life and thinking. The collective figure of “average” Italian is represented by the most famous and fabulous actors of Italian cinema! The Show will be screened in Le Cinema, the first and only cinema in Taormina! Le Cinema is happy to offer the guests a SICILIAN FREE OPEN-AIR BAR, which is open before the Show starts and during the 15 minute interval in the middle of the Show! Everything you will see in the bar is included in your ticket price! In the FREE BAR you will find a great selection of typical Sicilian pastries together with traditional Sicilian wine, liquors and non-alcoholic juices!
