La Monkey King Pictures è una nuova casa di produzione cinematografica e televisiva indipendente Italiana, è appena nata ma in lavorazione ci sono già tre film del regista e socio fondatore Eros Puglielli. La società si propone come autonoma, sviluppa e produce i propri progetti e anche film su com
missione controllando tutti gli aspetti del processo creativo, dello sviluppo, lo script le riprese cinematografiche, nonché tutto il percorso attraverso la post-produzione fino al suo completamento. L’esperienza d’imprenditori che provengono da campi differenti ma che in unione d’intenti vogliono intraprendere quest’attività in modo nuovo e costruttivo dando un’impostazione e un piccolo contributo alla produzione cinematografica italiana che vada nella direzione di un cinema autoriale ed esegetico ma che allo stesso tempo risulti come una formula di irrinunciabile attrattiva e che risponda alle esigenze contemporanee di un pubblico globalizzato. La Monkey King Pictures s’indirizza verso la ricezione di consenso di critica e pubblico sia sul mercato nazionale sia su quello internazionale e per questo si rivolge al mercato fortemente emergente della Cina. La società sta lavorando a progetti di coproduzione con distribuzioni e produzioni cinesi di rilevante importanza per la zona asiatica e ha intenzione di produrre film che siano fruibili in Europa quanto in Asia. La figura predominante di Antonio Muoio, CEO e fondatore, proviene dal settore delle costruzioni per il tramite del quale ha curato il lavoro delle aziende di famiglia fin dalla giovane età, e successivamente dal settore delle energie alternative dove nel 2007, a seguito di viaggi di lavoro in Cina, fonda una società di primario livello arrivando ad essere uno dei principali riferimenti del mercato della distribuzione di Fotovoltaico su territorio italiano. La presenza e l’ausilio dei soci storici che da sempre accompagnano queste attività con ormai una collaudata intesa, vede presente nella compagine societaria, Riccardo Mancini, laureato in Storia e Critica del Cinema alla Sapienza di Roma e Responsabile Marketing e Danilo Acitorio Responsabile Tecnico e Commerciale del gruppo. The Monkey King Pictures is a new and independent film and TV studio, it is just been born but it is already working on three different movies by the director and founding partner Eros Puglielli. The company presents itself as autonomous, it develops and produces its own projects but also commissioned films by controlling all aspects of the creative process: the pre-production and the initial development, the script, the film shooting as well as all the way through post-production to the final product. The corporate structure includes, besides of Eros Puglielli, the presence of Antonio Muoio, founder and CEO, Riccardo Mancini and Danilo Acitorio. The experience of the three entrepreneurs comes from different fields but in unity of purpose they want to undertake this activity in a new and constructive approach, giving a small but passionate contribution to the Italian film industry that goes in the direction of an auteur and exegetical cinema but at the same time, creating a formula of essential attractiveness responding to the contemporary needs of a global audience. The Monkey King Pictures aims to be appreciated by audiences and critics, both nationally and internationally appealing to the emerging market of China. The company is working in co-produced projects with important Chinese productions and distributions for the Asian region and it is planning to produce films that are valuable in Europe as well as in Asia. The leading figure of Antonio Muoio, CEO and founder, comes from the construction industry through which he oversaw the work of his family business since his young age, and then by entering the alternative energy field in which in 2007, after many business trips in China, he founded a company of primary level that quickly became a leader on the Italian PV market. The presence and the help of the historical partners which have always been present during these activities, with now a proven mutual understanding, is represented by their actual positions in the company structure: with Riccardo Mancini, a graduate in Cinema History and Criticism at the Sapienza University of Rome now Head of Marketing and Danilo Acitorio Technical and sales manager of the company.
