They said YES. We want MORE. 🎬

Last year was great.
But for Cinema Residency 2027, we decided to go further.

MORE days. MORE time to write. MORE time together.

5 days last year. 7 days in 2027. MORE.

📅 April 18–24, 2027
📍 HMO, Puglia, Italy

And trust us… this is just the beginning.

CINEMA RESIDENCY 2027 — MORE.

We’re back. And things are getting HOT. 🔥

Summer is almost over, but something new is already cooking.

We’re working on the second edition of Cinema Residency, and yes… Cinema Residency 2027 is coming.

Dates? Not yet. 😏
We’ll tell you very soon.

For now, there’s only one question:

Is your screenplay ready? 🎬✍️

28/06/2026

🎬 Hey… we’re still here.
No, we haven’t disappeared.
We’ve just been busy working on something bigger.
While this page has been a little quieter, we’ve been meeting people, building partnerships, making plans and imagining how to make Cinema Residency 2027 even better.
We’re doing it for those who believed in the first edition.
And for those who missed it.
Because if you thought the first edition was special… we’re only getting started.
Are you ready to write the next chapter with us? 🌍✍️

🌊 A month has passed.
Thirty days since the last lesson, the last notes scribbled in the margins, the last rooftop screening overlooking the sea.
Enough time for the emotions to settle.
Not enough time to forget.

The funny thing is that Cinema Residency didn’t really end on May 16th. The emails kept coming. The projects kept evolving. The conversations never stopped.
And while we're still smiling at photos from Vignanotica, we're already sitting around new tables, having new meetings, talking about the future.

Cinema Residency 2027 is no longer an idea.

It's already taking shape.
There’s still a long road ahead, a lot of work to do, new partners to meet and new dreams to convince.
But one thing is certain: what happened between the Gargano, Vignanotica and Foggia wasn't a one-time event.
It was the beginning of something.

See you soon. 🎬

🎬 Two weeks later.

We waited a little before sharing this.
To let the emotions settle.
To understand what really happened during those days in Vignanotica.

Cinema Residency was never just a workshop.
It became a journey.
A personal experience.
A group of writers and mentors from different parts of the world learning from each other, challenging themselves and building connections that won’t end with May 15th.

James V. Hart.
Claire Dobbin.
Christopher Vogler.

Group lessons, 1-to-1 sessions, rewrites, conversations, doubts, breakthroughs.
Stories being dismantled and rebuilt.
And people changing a little in the process.

But also music, dinners, sea, laughter, Puglia and late night talks.
Because creativity doesn’t live only inside a classroom.

This is only a first taste of what happened.
We’ll share much more soon.
For now… enjoy this small piece of Cinema Residency 2026.
And maybe start asking yourself:
Are you ready for Cinema Residency 2027? 🌍✍️🎬

They are the heart of this workshop.

Different countries, different voices, different stories — all sitting at the same table for five intense days of writing, rewrites, doubts, breakthroughs and ideas.

This post is for them.
The writers who trusted the process, challenged themselves and jumped into the unknown.

And honestly… aren’t they the best? 🌍✍️🔥
