L ’A.I.A.C.E (Associazione Italiana Amici del Cinema d’Essai) nasce in Italia nel 1962, ispirata al modello francese dei Cinémas d’Art et d’Essai, con gli scopi istituzionali di promozione e diffusione del cinema di qualità. Nel 2020, un variegato gruppo di giovani cinefili, con expertise e provenienze molto diverse, si ritrova per fondare l’A.I.A.C.E Valle d'Aosta, con la volontà di organizzare r
assegne ed eventi dal chiaro respiro cosmopolita e contemporaneo, anche grazie a numerosi partenariati e collaborazioni con associazioni e festival da tutto il mondo. Le idee in cantiere sono molte e presto inizieremo a condividerle con voi, un piccolo spoiler? Amiamo il cinema di ogni genere, taglia e provenienza, ma abbiamo certamente una predilezione per il formato cortometraggio!

The A.I.A.C.E. (Italian Association of Art Cinema’s Friends) was born in Italy in 1962, inspired by the french model of the Cinémas d’Art et d’Essai, with the institutional purposes of promotion and spread of quality cinema. In 2020, a motley group of young cinephiles, with different background and expertise, gathered to found the A.I.A.C.E. Aosta Valley, with the will to organize festivals and events with a cosmopolitan and contemporary feel, thanks also to several partnerships and collaborations with other associations and festivals from all over the world. We have many projects in the works and we'll begin to share them with you very soon! We love cinema in every genre, size and provenance, but we certainly have a fondness for the short film format!
