It was inaugurated by the "evergreen" superstar Late Prem Nazir who was in the area shooting for the movie "Chakravakam". The first movie to be screened here was the prem nazeer,k.r.vijaya,soman & unnimery starrer "Nivedyam". Blockbusters like Ezham kadalinakkare Harikrishnans, Annan Thambi, Twenty20, Pazhashi Raja, PokkiriRaja etc were released in this theatre. now running successfully bangalore days.the forthcoming attractions are avatharam, rajadhiraja.
