Sri Sankara Arts and Science College Since its inception in 1991, the college has seen phenomenal and qualitative growth. The College is recognized under the UGC Section 2f of 1956.

SRI SANKARA ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE, founded to provide quality higher education to the rural folk and to promote among the youth,the highest and loftiest ideals that constitute the essence of our culture. Affiliated to the University of Madras, it offers select undergraduate and postgraduate courses with premier faculty in first-rate scholarly and research environments. The College got ISO 9001-20

00 certification in 2008 and soon to get Quality NAAC Accreditation. Recent additions have been the sophisticated IT Lab consisting of 150 Computers, three Servers with Windows and Multimedia, internet and web facilities, Biotechnology laboratory with imported instruments at the cost of RS.1crore, and the proposed M.B.A. Program with all the latest facilities.
