Kumbhakarna Productions believes in making the kind of cinema that entertains, instructs, influences, remonstrates, invigorates, excites, or even frustrates in equal measure. Movies have strong emotions attached to them - they are hated or loved, liked or disliked, noticed or ignored. This is an attempt to answer one fundamental question - can people who watch movies passionately channel that pas

sion into making a movie? Would that movie be one that they themselves would want to watch? We take after the character in Ramayana, not just in name. As Kumbhakarna awoke to the clarion call for his brother's defence, we venture into a territory unbeknownst to us with a smile on our lips and the love of movies in our hearts.
