Uttar Da Puttar is a charming slice-of-life comedy-drama that finds humour in the everyday struggles of owning a home in a crowded metropolis. Anchored by a wonderfully committed Annu Kapoor, the film blends Vastu beliefs, middle-class aspirations and urban bureaucracy into an entertaining, relatable tale. Director Ravinder Siwach keeps the proceedings light and heartfelt, evoking shades of Khosla Ka Ghosla without imitating it.
The supporting cast, led by Bijendra Kala, Pavan Malhotra and Ishtiyak Khan, adds plenty of laughs, although a few characters deserve more room to shine. While the screenplay occasionally becomes more crowded than necessary, the film’s warmth, sincerity and grounded humour ensure that it remains an engaging watch with plenty of heart
