പ്രതീക്ഷകൾ മങ്ങിപ്പോയ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ, സീറ്റുകൾ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടന്ന സമയങ്ങളിൽ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു സിനിമ എത്തുമ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ തിയേറ്റർ വീണ്ടും ജീവൻ വീണ്ടെടുക്കുമായിരുന്നു. ആഘോഷങ്ങളും ആരവങ്ങളും ഹൗസ്ഫുൾ ബോർഡുകളും… ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്ക്രീനിൽ വീണ്ടും പ്രതീക്ഷ തെളിയിച്ചത് നിങ്ങളുടെ സിനിമകളായിരുന്നു.

Dear Sri Vijay Sir,

Some heroes create blockbusters. A few create history. But only one became a part of our theatre’s own story.

There were days when our seats remained empty and uncertainty filled our hearts. Then came a Vijay film—and suddenly our theatre came alive again. The whistles, the celebrations, the packed shows, the smiling faces… you didn’t just entertain our audience, you helped keep our screen alive.

You gave us hope when we needed it the most. You helped us survive, and for that, Sree Muruka will always remain indebted to you.

Today, it is incredibly difficult to accept that this is the last time we will be waiting for a new Ilaya Thalapathy film. For decades, every release was more than a movie—it was a festival. Generations walked through our doors to celebrate your films together, creating memories that will stay with us forever.

A chapter closes today, but the echoes of the cheers inside our theatre will never fade.

Thank you for every first-day-first-show.
Thank you for every houseful board.
Thank you for every unforgettable memory.
Most of all, thank you for helping theatres like ours continue their journey.
