Trikarshi natya sanstha * Trikarshi * originated in 1998 and has continued to the present day. Under our mentor KG Trivedi. Trikarshi was born in the year 1988 as a young theatre group.

It did play a commendable part in maintaining the sacrosanct of the traditional theatre along with searching for invigorated opportunities of experiments. It was felt that rise of television and cinema would deviate the audience from theatre at one point of time, but to the contrary Trikarshi did a lot in binding the audience with its constant theatrical performances. Among the prominent performan

ces of Trikarshi, more distinct are “Sakharam Binder”, “Thank You Baba Lochandas”, “Nar-Naari”, “Andar ki Baat” and Piyush Mishra’s “Gagan Damama Bajyo”. In fact the performance based on the poetry of the celebrated poet Pavan Karan has proved that the audience has an endless quest for newness in theatrical performance and Trikarshi does emerge as victorious in this effort of providing the audience with yet new refreshing performance. Further, Trikarshi has also enriched the audience with fresh ideas, constantly. “Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai…” the famous production of Trikarshi has lived up to the audience’s expectations from theatre. Trikarshi stands in opposition to the belief that its effort could do any revolutionary miracle in the society but retains the faith in the lines of the famous poet Late Dushyant Kumar that “KAUN KEHTA HAI KE AASMAAN MEIN SURAKH NAHIN HO SAKTA, EK PATTHAR TOH TABIYAT SE UCHAALO YAARON…”
