About the play ...This play depicts how society begins to label an unmarried man as a "bachelor" (or *chhada*). The story revolves around three brothers, none of whom are married. The eldest brother remains unmarried because his two younger brothers insist on choosing their own sister-in-law according to their personal preferences. The middle brother is a bodybuilder who desires a bride with a robust physique, while the youngest brother, being modern-minded, wants a modern sister-in-law. Eventually, the eldest brother marries a girl of his own choice; angered by this, the two younger brothers sever ties with him. However, the sister-in-law steps in and, with great affection, helps the two brothers understand that maintaining balance is essential in life. All these events are presented in a lighthearted manner, infused with a generous dose of comedy
