📆 Oct 22nd-26th

🔪 One of the most popular events in the IFI calendar, IFI Horrorthon returns to celebrate the terrifying, the gory, the wince-inducing and the uncanny, all enjoyed with a devilish dose of black humour.

💃 Wipe the blood off that dress, because IFI Horrorthon Prom is in town! In partnership with EGG Cabaret, join us for photos, partying, and very special cabaret performances, alongside screenings of iconic teenage horror throwbacks, Carrie, Jennifer's Body and The Loved Ones!

ᛉ This year's festival of fear features a frightening folk horror strand, beginning with a screening of The Blood On Satan's Claw, before offering audiences a chance to revisit or enjoy for the first time on the big screen proto-folk horror Incubus, Witchfinder General and The Wicker Man.

⁉️ Consider yourself a horror expert? Get a gang together and earn the ultimate bragging rights at our annual sell-out Horror Table Quiz (hosted by Derek O'Connor)! We strongly advise booking early for what has become the hottest event of the season.

📽️ As for our main programme, we have a delightfully devilish line-up of Irish and European premieres, double bills, and secret screenings.

🥂 Last year's festival favourite, the custom blood bag cocktails from Stillgarden Distillery, make their delicious return along with exclusive IFI Café Bar specials.

🍿 So grab your popcorn and blood squibs, IFI Horrorthon is not to be missed!

🎬 BUCKS HARBOR at IFI Documentary Festival 2026, introduced by IFI CEO & Director Ross, Keane.

🎟️ Book your festival tickets today! | https://ifi.ie/docfest
📆 Sept 23-27

Against the spectacular yet unforgiving Maine coastline, Pete Muller’s beautifully observed film explores the inner lives of a generation of fishermen.

Here, boys are shaped by the brutal winters, their harvesting of the ocean, and the rigid codes of their fathers.

Muller’s insightful film offers a timely reflection upon masculinity – its inheritance, pressures, and quiet vulnerabilities – asking what it truly means to be a 'man' today in a changing world.
