ek kreatív utánpótlást nyújtanak az animációs szakmának, egyben izgalmas, fesztiváldíjas alkotásokat a közönségnek. // Organised by the Animation Department of Moholy-Nagy Unviersity of Art and Design Budapest, the name of KISKAKAS Animation Film Days is an homage to The Cockerel’s Diamond Coin, the first colour animated film in Hungary created in 1951. The mission of the animation film days is to stage the most recent contemporary animated works to the Hungarian public. The pageant also showcases illustrious animation schools from around the globe, as well as presentations, roundtables and discussions dealing with important issues like the role of the moving image in online culture, the genre frameworks of animation, the most recent trends in production and distribution, or the alternative creative forms distancing themselves from the market-oriented animation film industry and their interactions with their primer medium, the internet.
