Today we would like to introduce MARUKO FARM in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
They grow many varieties of vegetables and rice and hold an annual sweetcorn harvest festival in June.

The sweetcorn is available in yellow/white/bicolour and is very popular for its high sugar content. ‼️
Harvesting season: Yellow: from June to early July; White: from June to mid-July; Bicolour: mid-June to mid-July.

Cherry Salmon are caught in Suttu Bay, Hokkaido, during the cherry blossom season from March to May.
Selected fish weighing more than 2 kg are sold as 'Oujyu', which are live-finished.

The red colour is the brightest in the salmon family, and the meat is dense, contains a high amount of fat and is packed with flavour.

It can be enjoyed as steak, sashimi, meuniere, marinated, saikyo-yaki or kama-yaki.

Today we visited Taniguchi Farm, where a couple grow tomatoes.
They grow colourful six-coloured rico tomatoes (rico = torico →Japanese means captivated by tomatoes 🍅) and told us a very informative story.

Try these tomatoes, which are small but have a good balance of sweetness and acidity.

本日はご夫婦でトマトを作られている谷口ファームさんへお邪魔しました。
カラフルな6色のリコトマト(トリコになるトマト🍅)を栽培されており、とても勉強になるお話を聞かせていただきました。
