🎬 I have some big news to share ❤️
My film “Inherited Silence” has officially entered the 2027 Oscar race in the Live Action Short Film category.
The film became Oscar-eligible thanks to winning the Grand Prix at Tampere Film Festival.
“Inherited Silence” is now available on the Academy Screening Room, where members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences can watch the film.
🙏 If you are an Academy member, I kindly ask you to watch “Inherited Silence.”
This is a very important moment for me and the entire team, as only around 100–200 films worldwide enter the Oscar race in this category each year. ❤️🇬🇪
On December 15, 2026, the official Oscar Shortlist will be announced, with 15 films selected. 🙏
Thank you to everyone who has been with us on this journey.
A special thank you to all the crew members who worked on this film selflessly and made it possible.
Thank you to our wonderful actors.
And thank you to the people of Jvara and to everyone who has supported us and continues to support us.
