University of York Movie Society A society for film lovers at the University of York! We watch, discuss and debate movies in a relaxed and informal setting.

The aim of the society is to provide a forum for like-minded film lovers to meet, watch movies and discuss films they may or may not know. We put on weekly screenings which are free to members, organise trips to cinemas and film festivals, and host guest speakers from the movie industry. Joining costs is just £3 for the year, and gives you free access to all our screenings.
