STREET FIGHTER (12a) is the latest big franchise film from Paramount Pictures. I just about remember the muscles from Brussels in the origional and now more than 30 years later its getting a reboot.

With a stacked cast from Stage and Screen and including legends from the world of wrestling. It's a lot of fun and its a 12a so it is suitable for the family. It opens onf Friday but we've booked it into the half term too!

It's been an incredible run of films this September and this week is no different. Heart Of The Beast (12a) and Sense & Sensibility (U) have been real crowd pleasers here in Whitley Bay.

Shaun The Sheep (U) is keeping young and old more than entertained. Resident Evil (15) has audiences running to the hills. Bad Apples (15) is proving the Indy hit of the month - and possibly the darkest comedy we've seen in a good while.

Looking ahead next week sees Verity (15) open based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover. The week after see's The Social Reckoning (15) the compatriat piece to 2011's The Social Network.

So much to see, so little time...
