When you're organising an event, the last thing you want is to be worrying about the technical side of things.

That's where we come in.

Our team doesn't just deliver a screen and leave you to it. We take care of the installation, sound, playback and technical operation, making sure everything is ready for your audience.

Whether it's a small community screening or a large public event, having an experienced team on site makes all the difference.

It's something we've always taken pride in at Skylight. 🎬

There's something about watching a scary film on a big screen that makes Halloween even better! 🎃

Whether it's a family favourite earlier in the day or something a little more frightening once darkness falls, Halloween is a brilliant excuse to organise a cinema event.

We've supplied screens for some fantastic Halloween screenings over the years, including indoor drive-ins where visitors can enjoy the film from the comfort of their own cars.

With Halloween just around the corner, we're looking forward to seeing what this year's events have in store. 👻🎬

October is here, and the pumpkins are out! 🎃

We love seeing how venues make our screens part of their seasonal events, and this autumn setup looks right at home amongst the pumpkins.

With Halloween and half-term just around the corner, it's a great time of year for family films, seasonal entertainment and something a little different from the usual cinema experience.

And yes, our LED screens work perfectly well in daylight too!

A little Paddington to brighten up the day! 🐻🎬

Family films are always a popular choice for outdoor cinema events, and Paddington in Peru has certainly been a favourite this year.

One of the great things about our LED screens is that there's no need to wait until the evening to start the film, making them ideal for events with younger audiences.

A lovely way to bring families together for something a little different.

A little glimpse into what we've been up to at Skylight! 🎬

It's been a busy year for our team, travelling across the UK and working on all sorts of events, from outdoor cinema screenings and live sport to festivals, concerts and community celebrations.

Every event brings something different, whether it's a completely new venue, an unusual location or helping a client bring an idea to life for the first time.

There's always plenty going on behind the scenes too, with our team taking care of everything from planning and installation to making sure the screens are running smoothly throughout the event.

As we head into the final few months of the year, we're looking forward to what's still to come, as well as starting to make plans for another busy year in 2027. 🎥

Outdoor cinema might be in our name, but films are only part of what keeps our screens busy.

Over the years they’ve shown live football, festival graphics, sponsor adverts, event schedules, presentations, live camera feeds, gaming and plenty more.

Basically, if you need lots of people to see something, there’s a good chance we can put it on a big screen. 👀

One question we get asked a lot is, “How big a screen do I actually need?”

And the answer isn’t always “the biggest one”.

It depends on the size of the audience, how far away they’ll be sitting, the venue, what you’re showing and even the time of day.

That’s why we’d always rather have a quick chat about your event before recommending anything.

Sometimes a smaller screen is exactly the right choice. 🎬

This is what Halloween at the drive-in looks like. 👀

Cars parked up, lights down and something suitably scary on the big screen.

There’s something about watching a horror film from the safety of your car that makes it even better, especially on a dark October night.

We’ve put on plenty of drive-in screenings over the years, but Halloween ones always have a brilliant atmosphere. 🎃🎬

It might feel a long way off, but it’s definitely not too early to start thinking about next summer. ☀️🎬

Some of our favourite events take a little planning, especially if you have a particular summer date in mind.

Beach cinemas, outdoor film nights, festivals, live sport, community events... our screens will be back out across the UK again next summer.

If you’ve got an idea for next year, there’s absolutely no need to wait until spring to start talking to us.

Halloween events don’t have to start after dark. 👻

A big screen can add something completely different to your October plans, from an afternoon family film to a Halloween classic later in the evening.

Indoor, outdoor or drive-in, we can supply the screen, sound and technical setup and help you work out what will suit your venue.
