Unfortunately the licence and download for Nuremberg is not available until June sometime - but we know you want to see it and so do we. It should all be fine for September so Nuremberg will be our opening film for the autumn season on Wednesday 16th September. Sorry about the delay and thank you for voting.
In the meantime our programme looks like this;
18th March - Emma Thompson in “Dead of Winter “ voted as second choice.
15th April - Ralph Finnes in “The Choral”
20th May- Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman “in Song Sung Blue”
17th June- Summer Special Event supper with “Hamnet”
16th September - Russell Crowe and Rami Malek in “Nuremberg” (2026).
We hope you can join us for some of these films and that you have an enjoyable evening when you do. Thank you for supporting our little cinema.

Our March film is a suspense thriller starring Emma Thompson and we will be showing this film on 18th March.

The winner of the audience choice film was “Nuremberg.” Second was “Dead of Winter” very closely followed by “The Colour Room “. We cannot get a licence for Nuremberg until June so we will be showing it then. So for March we are showing the second choice “Dead
Winter”
Thank you for everyone who voted.
Best wishes

In March we are going for the “audience choice”- so the three films on offer are as follows ;
Dead of Winter - mystery/ thriller starring Emma Thompson .

Nuremberg (2025) tipped as a. Oscar winning film which deals with some of the issues behind the actual trials. Brilliant acting from Russell Crowe Rami Malek (he played Freddie Mercury in the Queen film ) .
The Colour Room. A biographical drama based on the life of Clarice Cliff. Takes place in the 1920’s/30’s all around the potteries. Clarice ended up as being a top designer and her pottery is still very collectible today.
So which would be your choice ??
We will have slips to fill in at our film night in January and also you can respond if you are on our mailing list.

Dates for your Diary.
Our film on the 18th February will be the last “Downton”- Downton the finale. Details to follow.
March is an Audience Choice, followed by Choral in April . This of course is as always dependant on licence availability.
Thank you for your continued support.
