Clients that understand the assignment are the best!

Do you ever wake up at times and go "wow I've got some amazing clients?"

That's how I felt yesterday after a conversation with Barbara. I support Barbara with social media and I've had some ideas that she can use on all of her platforms and not just the one I work with her on.

When I put it out there she ran with it and then when I sent her another idea she took it to the next level! I'm not going to go into too much detail but I just wanted to give her a little shout out for being that person who jumps onboard even when I haven't given her all the context!

Another bank holiday Monday, another reminder that rest is allowed.

For small business owners, time off can feel complicated. There is often still something waiting, something unfinished, or something that could be done.

But rest is not a reward for completing every task.

It is part of being able to keep going sustainably.

If you are working today, keep it light where you can. If you are not, let yourself actually step away.

And when you come back to your business, notice what would make the return easier next time.

That is often where better systems and support can help.

Try this when your to-do list feels too long:

Split it into three sections.

Today: tasks that genuinely need attention now
This week: important tasks with a little more space
Later: useful tasks that do not need to steal focus today

This helps you see what is urgent, what is important, and what is just being noisy.

Not everything on your list deserves the same level of attention.

That does not mean it is unimportant. It means you are choosing your energy with care.
