The Ripon Movie Quiz will be happening as usual this Friday (3rd July) at the Claro Lounge starting at 8pm.
Some of you may already be aware that we will be looking for a new venue for the Movie Quiz in the near future and we will keep you posted on any developments.
So, can you work out this week's mash-up poster? This might be my favourite one so far - two movie titles mashed into one with a single common word connecting them.

So sorry folks. I postponed last week's Ripon Movie Quiz to this week and then I realised I had double booked myself, so I'm having to cancel again. But we will definitely be back next week on Friday the 19th of June. No double-bookings, no cancellations, next Friday I will definitely be there, even if I have to contend with an alien invasion. See you on the 19th!

This Friday's RIPON MOVIE QUIZ has, unfortunately, been postponed due to 'scheduling conflicts' or 'artistic differences' or 'insert excuse here'... but the good news is we'll be back next Friday (12th) and then the following Friday (19th) for a rare 'Ripon Movie Quiz Two Weeks In A Row' Extravaganza! Our apologies for the inconvenience, folks.
And, just in case you're wondering, my choice of poster to announce this is inspired by the fact that "Goonies 2" was planned for years, decades in the end, but never made.
So, just hang on a little longer and we'll see you all on Friday 12th June 2026 at the Claro Lounge!
