Yesterday we received a generous donation from the Mayor of Rhyl, Councillor Joan Butterfield, following a fun Race Night she hosted last week.

This donation will help towards our goal of making Rhyl a more Dementia Friendly community for residents and visitors. We are so grateful to Councillor Butterfield for her generosity.

A Rhyl group has had a fundraising boost thanks to mayor Cllr Joan Butterfield.

Dementia Friendly Rhyl meets monthly and is working towards becoming a Dementia Friendly town. The group looks for events and training to support those living with, or caring for, someone with dementia.

As one of the mayor's chosen charities for the year, Cllr Butterfield organised a race night to raise funds for the group. Cllr Butterfield presented group chairman Toni Vitti with a cheque for £1,000 with both thanking all who attended.🙏
