MESSAGE FROM THE RBF TEAM

Due to a licensing issue at the venue, we're having to close the cinema + bar for these two dates. No films or booze next Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th May.

The café, foyer and events spaces will be open as usual for regular community meet-ups, socials and workshops. If you have a booking, we have sent you an email about this.

To be transparent, over the last month or so we've been working hard to resolve this. We had to close for a week at the beginning of May unexpectedly as you all know, and this is why. We sincerely apologise for the constant uncertainty and inconvenience to everyone.

We can't thank you all enough for your understanding, patience and support recently and throughout the past (almost) five years.

Before then, this bank holiday we're showing Mandalorian and Grogu, Hen and Finding Emily if you fancy a film.

Big love 💕

CLUCK CLUCK! Hen from is coming Friday for limited screenings!

Told entirely from the perspective of its avian protagonist, György Pálfi's Hen follows a chicken who escapes an industrial farm only to find herself navigating the pecking order of a crumbling seaside restaurant in Greece.

As she fights to protect her eggs, she becomes an unwitting witness to the complex human lives around her as the restaurant is caught up in greed, smuggling, and the migrant crisis.

This film is in Greek (and Clucks) with English subtitles.
