We've added in some early evening showings of Nolan's new epic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Also, just to be clear, the BBFC have rated the film 15. If you are blessed H**e the goddess of youth, please be prepared and bring ID with you (passport or PASS proof of ID card).

RESCHEDULED SCREENING

Transition Town Reading's screening originally slated for Reading Climate Festival in June has a new date!

The Little Things That Run the World is now being screened at 6pm on Tuesday 14th July

The film introduces viewers to a diverse group of scientists, nature lovers, gardeners, farmers, and general bug enthusiasts in exploring the importance of flying insects amid rapid declines in their numbers.

We have also added in their environmental action short What If A Better World Were Possible? about the joy of possibility in the face of uncertainty and the power of local community action.

Christopher Nolan's mythical follow up to Oppenheimer, is only 2 WEEKS away!

This adaptation of the epic poem by Homer features Matt Damon as Odysseus on his return from the Trojan Way, facing many perils on his journey.

Also starring Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o, with Zendaya and Charlize Theron. The list goes on and it's WILD!

Now feels like a good time to remind everyone of our accessible screenings 🤓

Every Wednesday
11am Silver Screening exclusively for Over 60s (with subtitles and a complimentary hot drink and biscuits ☕)

Baby+1 screenings at 11:30am (with subtitles, lower volume and the lights stay on low throughout)

Relaxed screenings (lower volume, lights on low and the freedom to move around and make noise. Designed for those with autism, sensory sensitivities or learning disabilities and their family, friends or carers)

Subtitled screenings are every Sunday and Thursday (usually an afternoon and evening slot with open captions for the D/deaf and hard of hearing)

REOPENING ANNOUNCEMENT
SEE YOU THU 9TH JULY 👋

After last week's good news that our renewed premises license has been approved, we are happy to confirm that we will be opening our doors again for our wonderful Reading community from Thursday 9th July.

We had originally expected to be able to reopen sooner, but we need a little more time. The team are in the process of reviewing all policies and procedures to ensure that we are inline with the conditions of our license.

To our customers, members, event holders, and community partners, we would like to express our sincere apologies for the extended closure and uncertainty around the status of the venue. Thank you for bearing with us during this very challenging period.

If you are a member with us, we will arrange an extension on your membership to make up for the closure from Sunday 31st May. Bear with us, there are quite a few of you!

Also massive thanks to our amazing staff who have been endlessly adaptable and understanding throughout 💞

So come support us from 9th July. Watch a film, grab a drink. It literally keeps us going!
