We are looking forward to the screening of The Surfer this evening. Unfortunately we are unable to serve alcohol tonight as there have been some changes at the community centre which have meant a temporary halt to the licence. This is temporary though, and tea and coffee will be available. 🎬

NOTICE - SCREENING CANCELLED. Our planned screening of Jaws has been postponed due to licencing restrictions following it's re-release in theatres. The current licence excludes smaller comminuty cinemas like ours for now. "We're gonna need a bigger cinema". Apologies. However check our Facebook site for our replacement screening!

We are taking a brief break for our summer holidays here at Penwortham Community Cinema. However we will be back in August for our 50th Anniversary screening of Jaws! Details will follow soon. We also have a great run of films planned for the autumn, so stay tuned. Until then, maybe stay out of the water ;) Also, can you see the shark in this terrific Jaws poster? Don't have nightmares...

Here are our films for June at Penwortham Community Cinema. This includes the FRIDAY AFTERNOON SCREENING with doors opening at 1:30pm at The Venue. The film will start at 2pm. Tickets are £5 and includes tea and biscuits. Please pay on the door - booking is not required for this screening.
