Another wonderful gig on Saturday, many thanks to and Parlay🏴‍☠️ , 20 three and !
It's events like this which help remind us that the fight to Plymouth Royal Cinema is definitely worth the effort. From 1PM: Join us to discover the Save The Royal campaign, share your memories, and enjoy an afternoon of celebration.

🎶 From 3PM: Live music with Jon Fazal, Cinephile Quizzes, and a special cake-cutting to mark The Royal’s 88th birthday! 🎂

Let’s honour Plymouth’s cinematic heritage and keep The Royal’s story alive for future generations. 💙

Join us outside the REEL Cinema on 25 July to celebrate our beloved venue’s history.
Come along for free to learn about our campaign, share your memories, and sing along to the songs you once heard live at The Royal!
🎶 Jon Fazal and Band will be bringing classics back as well as playing their captivating original music from 3–6pm, with an invitation to share memories and stories from 1–3pm.

We’re putting together The Royal & ABC Cinema Quiz for our Birthday event and we’d love your help. If you’ve got fun facts, film memories, ABC stories, or pop‑culture nuggets that deserve a place in the quiz, send them our way.

Whether it’s something you remember from the old ABC days, a favourite film you saw there, or a quirky bit of Plymouth cinema history — we want to hear it. Your memories could become part of the quiz on the day.
