To save kitchen staff from melting in this heat (kitchen showing 40 degrees without oven on!) we’re running a lighter menu! Don’t worry families, your relatives are still getting a hot dinner, but we’ll be serving this at supper when hopefully it’s slightly cooler!

The only video of today! All residents loved the ice cream van coming to pay us a visit!

.half the staff were sat inside the water fountain when the ice cream van arrived!

Don’t judge us, it’s hot and the water was too inviting not to go for a dip after the lunchtime rush đŸ„” 😂

What an amazing day! Animals, picnic, so many laughs and finished off with fresh doughnuts 😋Thoroughly enjoyed by all, I think it’s fair to say we’ll all sleep tonight!

We’re off to Folly Farm today! So if you’re planning on visiting, just give us a ring before hand to check if we’re back...

To the residents who wanted to stay behind, they’ll probably have more fun as the big bosses are up taking control today - we don’t know what state the home will be in on our return - the last time this happened we came back to ripped up carpets! 😅
