Back when we were starting to come to the end of the Covid pandemic, an idea was born to make cakes, put the kettles on, and invite people to the Pateley Bridge & Bewerley Memorial Hall on a Wednesday afternoon from 2-4pm for a cuppa and piece of cake. It was felt that this would help people to meet up and regain confidence in mixing with friends again.
This has worked well and we have seen many people join us over the past nearly five years. We now feel that we have fulfilled our original ambition and the time is now right to close the doors on this chapter. This has not been an easy decision but we feel it is the right one.
We wish to thank our regulars, you know who you are, and we really appreciate your support in our venture.

Cuppa and Cake is on today at the hall, Wednesday 15th April from 2-4pm.

PATELEY BRIDGE AND BEWERLEY MEMORIAL HALL CIO

The Annual General Meeting of the Pateley Bridge and Bewerley Memorial Hall CIO will be held in the Committee Room on the 27th April 2026 at 6.30 pm

All members of the public are welcome to join us. If you have a little bit of time to spare and would like to volunteer with us at the Hall, then please come along.

Alternatively, just come and join us, as it would be good to have people share any ideas they may have, which may be of benefit to the Hall

It’s Wednesday 1st April and it’s Cuppa and Cake day and we are back to our usual Spring/Summer time of 2-4pm.
There will be coffee cake, school cake, red berry flapjack, choc chip cookies and cheese scones. The kettle will also be on so pop and and join us for an afternoon treat, it will be lovely to see you! 🍰🍪🧁🫖☕️

A massive thank you to ‘Gypsy- The Soul of Fleetwood Mac’ for booking the Hall for their event last night. What a great night with a brilliant atmosphere and fantastic music. This is what we need more of at the Hall, live music.
Next month we have another live band on the 11th April and I shall post more about that shortly.

Cuppa and Cake is on today,Wednesday 18th March from 1-3pm.
There will be chocolate cake, school cake, ginger and chocolate chip/speckled eggs cookies. We will also have our usual cheese scones and a brew is always available.

There will be soup, cheese scones, Bakewell sponge cake, school cake and cookies waiting for you along with a hot drink.
