Did you know…

Newmarket King’s Theatre has lived many lives since being built around 1850 – from St. Mary’s Church Girls and Infants School, to the Fitzroy Tea Rooms after 1939, before being transformed in 1954 by Captain Herbert Ryder King and the Nomads into the iconic Kings Hall.

Today, it’s still home to the Nomads, and since 2024 it’s also home to Kings Cinema – Newmarket’s only cinema, continuing our story on the big screen! 🎬
