An adaption of the novel by BAFTA nominee Bernard MacLaverty, Midwinter Break follows Stella and Gerry, a longtime married couple who reach a crossroads in their relationship when they take a trip to Amsterdam. After so much time and so many memories, long-held promises and deeply concealed wounds threaten to come to light and force them to confront their future.

The film is a stirring meditation on faith, commitment, and the enduring power of love.

It's been 10 years since we opened the doors of Newlyn Filmhouse to bring you the very best of cinema and live events to West Penwith, and we've loved every second.

Whether you've only just discovered us, or have been with us from the very beginning, all are welcome throughout the evening for drinks & nibbles.

We have two screenings for you too choose from, 16:00 & 18:00, with ALL tickets £5!
