We are saddened to hear of the death of David Hockney.

David Hockney’s extraordinary artistic career extended beyond painting, influencing film and visual storytelling with his distinctive perspective and bold use of colour.

The quasi-documentary A Bigger Splash (1973) is now regarded as a compelling portrait of Hockney at a pivotal moment in his career, capturing his creative process, relationships, and the vibrant cultural world surrounding him.
