This show is brilliant. Book tickets if you can. It’s a one-man show by Adrian Lukis, who played Wickham in the BBC’s 1995 version of P&P. I saw it a few years ago at Jermyn Street Theatre and it was fabulous.

Shadowlands this evening starring Hugh Bonneville and Maggie Siff was pretty perfect. The first half was all about how two wildly different personalities bounce so nicely off each other and in the second half they spent time pondering faith and suffering, meaning and the afterlife. CS Lewis - Jack - describes himself as only just having started to live when he fell in love. So glad I got my £30 ticket up in the gods. I was in row A at the side and fortunately it turned out to be a really good view. It’s booking until May 9 and I highly recommend it 🎭

Beatrice Penny-Touré will play the role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom Of The Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre from Monday March 2 until Saturday May 9.

Lily Kerhoas, who currently plays the role of Christine, will have her final performance on Saturday February 28.

For the past year, Beatrice has been starring as Cosette in the Les Misérables Arena World Tour, a role she will return to following her 10-week run as Christine. She previously made her professional and West End debut covering and playing Christine at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

I got to try the Friends meal at McDonald’s today. Monica’s marinara sauce is a delicious treat - spicy/sweet and perfect for dipping chicken nuggets. I reckon £9.19 for a medium meal is pretty pricey though! The toy I got was Chandler - apparently the most popular one… 🐥💜
