Adolfo Domínguez is one of the most influential figures in contemporary Spanish fashion, with a career spanning more than five decades.
His international expansion began in the 1980s, with stores opening in cities such as London, Paris and Tokyo.
His iconic slogan “La arruga es bella”, or "creases are beautiful", became one of the most internationally recognised messages associated with Spanish fashion.
He also gained international visibility by dressing the protagonists of the American television series Miami Vice.
In 2019, he received Spain’s National Fashion Design Award for his contribution to Spanish fashion.

On Sat 19 Sep, after the screening of the documentary THE ECHO OF OTHER VOICES, his daughter Adriana will be with us to talk about him, his creative vision, and the company she now runs as CEO.
