LONDON: Eleventh Hour Films (EHF) has signed a co-production deal with Luti Media to develop a slate of original drama series.

New Blood producer Eleventh Hour Films has signed a coproduction deal with Luti Media to develop a slate of original television dramas.

Jill Green, managing director of Eleventh Hour, has teamed up with Luti Fagbenle, the founder of Luti Media, which is best known for music videos for artists such as Zayn Malik, Rita Ora, One Direction and Kanye West.

Their ambition is to pool their respective expertise and talent in drama production and youth facing content, to develop a unique slate of projects - both fiction and true story - and work with some of the most exciting, up and coming talent in the entertainment industry.

The coproduction partnership has already secured its first script commission with Channel 4. Laylah and the Universe is described a witty drama penned by actor/writer/director O-T Fagbenle.

They are also working with award-winning Director X on a distinctive music driven remaking of a famous legend.

The 4 x 60' series stars internationally renowned British actor Stephen Moyer (True Blood, The Bastard Executioner and the upcoming Fox drama series Shots Fired) as charismatic yet impulsive ex-police officer Tom Brook who runs a police safe house, which stands by the edge of the sea on the rugged coastline of Anglesey, a wild and beautiful sanctuary.

Stephen will be joined by actress Zoe Tapper (Mr Selfridge, Lewis) as his partner Sam. The drama is written by Ed Whitmore (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, He Kills Coppers) and Tracey Malone (Rillington Place), and directed by Marc Evans (Hinterland, Collision).

ITV have announced the new leading cast members for the continuation of drama series Safe House.
