Epic Movie Productions is set to tell the real truth about the pivotal 1960's london mobsters and struggle faced by the police to capture them with a 'wall of silence' in force for 10 years whilst the gangsters did exactly as they pleased, EMP also reveals the effects the gangs had on the general public in this feature film called 'Last Kings of London'.

WHAT A NIGHT @ 💿

Ark Movie Productions officially announced our brand-new film on the slate: MY HOUSE.

We celebrated with investors, future partners and VIPs, raising a glass to the ever-expanding Ark universe and the brilliant people driving it forward.

Highlights included:
• CEO Robert Stushki unveiling the vision.
• Iconic writer/director Ray Burdis speaking about the passion behind our projects.
• Executive Producer and house music legend DJ Tall Paul () delivering an unreal closing set that had the whole room moving.

The energy was next level. MY HOUSE is coming… and the revolution in film just got louder.

What is Dirty Truckers?

Dirty Truckers is a gritty, character-driven feature film set in the mid-1980s, following four tipper truck drivers each battling their own personal demons, struggles and hardships.

Bound by desperation and the weight of financial ruin, these men are united by a single goal, to fight for their livelihoods and the families who depend on them. When an opportunity arises that promises fast money but falls far outside the law, they take a chance. But as their risky venture begins to attract the wrong kind of attention, they find themselves in deeper than they ever imagined.

A raw and uplifting story of friendship, loyalty and survival, Dirty Truckers captures the spirit of working-class Britain at a time when hope was in short supply and doing what’s right wasn’t always an option.

Erin Patria Margaret Pizzey CBE is a British rights activist and novelist, known for her advocacy on behalf of both men’s and women’s rights and for her work against domestic violence. She is recognised for founding the world’s first and largest domestic violence shelter in the world, Refuge, then known as Chiswick Women’s Aid, in 1971.

Pizzey set up a women’s refuge in Belmont Terrace, Chiswick, London, in 1971. She later opened a number of additional shelters, despite hostility from the authorities. She gained notoriety and publicity for setting up refuges by squatting, most notably in 1975 at the Palm Court Hotel in Richmond. Pizzey’s work was widely praised at the time. In 1975, MP Jack Ashley stated in the House of Commons that “The work of Mrs. Pizzey was pioneering work of the first order. It was she who first identified the problem, who first recognised the seriousness of the situation and who first did something practical by establishing the Chiswick aid centre. As a result of that magnificent pioneering work, the whole nation has now come to appreciate the significance of the problem”. While being prosecuted by local authorities and appealing matters to the House of Lords, she was recognised for her work.

Refuge is a powerful and moving story that pays tribute to the courageous individuals who, in the 1970s, established the very first shelter for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

Created by our CEO, Robert Stushki, and written by Mark Ashby, who has a deeply personal connection to the story, as his mother was one of the shelter’s co-founders, Refuge brings to life an extraordinary and important chapter of history.

We’re immensely proud to share this true and inspiring story with audiences and can’t wait to bring it to the big screen.
