Veto Films

Veto Films Telling stories of peoples lives, hopes and experiences. At the heart of our work we aim to promote the universal values of peace, friendship and community.

Our films are set against the wide diversity of human culture both at home and abroad. Everyone at Veto Films works together to find and produce films which show both unique viewpoint and a common theme of people overcoming adversity and challenge. Whilst aiming to work mainly in documentaries for broadcast and screen, we often work in a commercial capacity for charities, government bodies and local institutions. If you think you have a project, story or idea which suits our ideals, we’d love to hear from you.

The BBC interview about my last film Looking For Zeeshan, in which I talk about my dear friend and the issue of mental health particularly in the film industry. Have a listen and share it please. It’s difficult for some but we need to open up and talk more about this.

Hey dear friends, we're now back from London where we spent 3 full days shooting our film in tribute to our friend Zeeshan. It was challenging, emotional and revealing, all at once. Meeting the friends of our friend gone too soon. Walking down the streets of Tottenham where he used to live.
Sharing thoughts, insights and memories.
Precious moments all captured on camera. We felt deep inside that the film was important. We sensed that the film had come together in London sometimes in unexpected ways. The magic of documentary filmmaking.
Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all of you who shared with us words of encouragement and thanks your donations. Be certain that because of you, this small project became feasible and somehow came to be on our meagre budget.
We're planning to start the editing of the film from about mid-August. This last stage of production is both critical and decisive. Please consider making a donation to help us cover our costs if you believe in the project (link to the Gofundme in the comments)
We'll keep you posted ;)
