Danny + Zoey | Sneak Peek | The Vu, Bathgate 🤍

What an absolute belter of a wedding!

It was great to be back at my local venue, The Vu, for Danny and Zoey’s big day. Such a stunning setting in the Bathgate Hills, we’re spoiled having somewhere like this on our doorstep!

The drone caught some lovely sunshine, though the Bathgate Hills changed their mind about the weather a few times. It didn’t spoil the day one bit.

A special shout-out to Here we Joe Weddings, who it was brilliant to work alongside for the first time. He got the party going during the day and kept it going right through the evening. Some energy from that man! 🔥

Nicole + Ryan | Sneak Peek | The Bothy, Glasgow 🤍

A wee wedding with some very big news! 🧸

Nicole and Ryan’s intimate wedding at Bothy Glasgow was a lovely family get-together, with an extra surprise in store. A pregnancy announcement AND a gender reveal, with a little help from a teddy bear. Quite a day to have everyone together!

The Bothy was a brilliant setting for it all, cosy, full of character and tucked away in Glasgow’s West End. A cracking venue for a smaller wedding, with just the right atmosphere for a relaxed celebration with your closest people.

Glasgow brought the rain, naturally, but it certainly didn’t dampen the day. Fair play to Nicole and Ryan for braving the elements with me. We headed out to capture some really cool footage nearby, including a wander down the famous Ashton Lane. Well worth getting a bit wet for! ☔

I was with them through to the speeches, capturing a special family celebration that suited the two of them perfectly.

Gillian + Danilo
Lochside House Hotel 🤍

We recently had the pleasure of filming Gillian and Danilo's beautiful wedding at the stunning Lochside House Hotel.

The Scottish weather certainly made an appearance! 🌦️ We had a few showers throughout parts of the day, but as always, Scotland had one last surprise for us. Later in the evening the skies cleared beautifully, giving us the perfect opportunity to capture some stunning drone footage in the sunshine. It just goes to show, you really can experience all four seasons in one day!

It was also great to work alongside Heyes Images again. It's been a while since our paths last crossed, so it was lovely to catch up and work together once more. 📸

Catherine + Karen
Balbirnie House Hotel 🤍

It was fantastic to be back at Balbirnie House for Catherine and Karen's beautiful wedding day.

The Scottish weather certainly kept everyone on their toes! ☔☀️ The ceremony began outdoors in the stunning grounds before the rain made an appearance, resulting in a quick move indoors. Typical Scotland, four seasons in one day! Thankfully, Catherine and Karen got the best of both worlds and were able to enjoy their ceremony both outside and inside, making for a truly memorable day.

It was also great teaming up once again with Mark Quinn Photography 📸 Always a pleasure working together and capturing such special moments for our couples.

What a day this was, huge emotion, an amazing atmosphere, and a dance floor that genuinely never seemed to stop. A brilliant crowd, a fantastic venue just outside St Andrews, and one of those weddings that was an absolute joy to capture from start to finish.

A small moment to say thank you.

Since the start of the year I’ve had a really lovely run of new bookings come in for weddings across Scotland, and I just wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am to every couple who has trusted me to film their day.

It never gets taken for granted that people invite you into such an important part of their lives, and I’m genuinely looking forward to capturing all the stories still to come this year.

Thank you again to everyone who has booked, recommended me, or shared my work with others. It really does make a difference.

Here’s to a fantastic year of weddings ahead.
