Our Winter Ball is the long waited annual event bringing together supporters and change-makers for an evening filled with inspiration, entertainment, and hope.

This year’s ball will be an opportunity to highlight the work of the organisation, with a special focus on their Ultrasound Project. Through this initiative, Rainbow for Africa UK is making a profound impact in communities in Western Kenya by providing essential medical equipment and training to healthcare workers in underserved regions. The Ultrasound Project is transforming lives, enabling earlier and more accurate diagnoses that can save lives, particularly in areas where access to healthcare and diagnostics is very limited.

Guests will have the chance to hear first-hand stories of the lives that have been changed through this project and see the tangible results of their support. The evening will also feature live music, a gourmet dinner, and a charity auction with exclusive items, all set in a beautifully decorated venue that captures the warmth and spirit of the season.

We aim to respond to humanitarian need, supporting clinical staff to travel to areas requiring their targeted expertise with direct patient care or by training local clinicians. Our work aims to make sustainable improvements, leaving skills and expertise within the region once our specific mission is complete. We will strive at all times to implement this mission statement with the highest professional and ethical standards.

Dopo l'assegnazione definitiva della Coppa Rimet al Brasile, vincitore nel 1970 per la terza volta dell'ambito trofeo assegnato dal 1930, la Fifa organizzò un concorso per creare la nuova Coppa del Mondo.
Poco dopo vennero presentate 53 opere, e si sarebbe scelta quella dello scultore italiano Silvio Gazzaniga. Il trofeo quello utilizzato ancora oggi per premiare i vincitori rappresenta la gioia della vittoria con due atleti stilizzati che sorreggono l'intero mondo.
La coppa è alta 36,8 cm e il diametro della base, invece, è di 13 cm. Il peso del trofeo è di 6175 g, composta in oro massiccio a 18 carati. Ovunque c'è arte e bellezza il tricolore sventola con orgoglio...🇮🇹
