Take 2 Cinema is Lancaster University’s own cinema, run by students, for students. We show recent films at very affordable rates and everyone is welcome. The selection of films we show includes a wide range from recent releases to blockbuster classics, documentaries and beyond. Take 2 Cinema has been recently upgraded and now includes a refreshments kiosk, comfortable seating, and a brand new high

quality digital projector. Films are shown on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays during weeks 1-9 of every term. One film is shown per day, and the showing starts at 7:30pm on each day, with doors opening at 7:15pm. The cinema is available for any member of the university to book for private screenings/socials/continuation of lectures on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night weeks 1-9 and any night in week 10. Places are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please be aware entry cannot be charged unless a licence is purchased (something we can aid with if possible).
