🦸‍♂️ SUPERMAN FACT OF THE DAY! 🦸‍♂️

Did you know that Superman’s famous “S” shield doesn’t actually stand for Superman?

In many versions of the story, the symbol is the crest of the House of El on his home planet of Krypton and represents hope! 🌟

Since his first comic appearance in 1938, the Man of Steel has become one of the most recognised characters on Earth, appearing in comics, TV shows, cartoons, video games and blockbuster films. 🎬

🎬 Exciting Months Ahead at The Screen Community Cinema! 🎬

We’re thrilled to share our upcoming film line-up, bringing the magic of the big screen right to the heart of our community at The Bert Boyden Community Centre!

📅 April 18th
We begin with The King of Kings, a beautifully crafted animated retelling inspired by the storytelling of Charles Dickens. This moving film brings to life a timeless story of hope, compassion, and redemption, told through rich animation and powerful narration that audiences of all ages can enjoy.

🦖 May 16th
Next up is Jurassic World: Rebirth, an action-packed return to the iconic dinosaur saga. With new characters, breathtaking visuals, and high-stakes adventure, this latest chapter explores a world where humans and dinosaurs continue to collide in thrilling and unexpected ways.

🦸 June 13th
We then present the latest Superman film, a fresh take on the legendary hero. Expect an inspiring story filled with action, heart, and heroism as the Man of Steel faces new challenges while staying true to what makes him a symbol of hope.
