Our next film, showing on Friday 31 July, is About Time.
Tickets are £5 cash on the door. Doors to the main hall of Hoylake Parade Community Centre open at 6.30pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. Please bring along your own drinks and snacks/picnic and join in our free quiz with a prize after the film.
All our profits go to the community centre.

"About Time" won the poll, it received 32 votes of 69 cast, it got 46% of the vote from the HFC audience at Hoylake Film Club's screening on 25th June 2026, and so will be screened by Hoylake Film Club at Hoylake Parade Community Centre on Friday 26th June 2026.

Trailer for 'Stand By Me' film voting choice #4 to be viewed at the Hoylake Film Club screening this evening, Friday 26th June 2026 at Hoylake Parade Community Centre
Fourth of the four films up for the audience vote for the potential to be the film that will be screened on Friday 31st July 2026.

Stand By Me (1986) After learning that a stranger has been accidentally killed near their rural homes, four Oregon boys decide to go see the body. On the way, Gordie Lachance (Wil Wheaton), Vern Tessio (Jerry O'Connell), Chris Chambers (River Phoenix) and Teddy Duchamp (Corey Feldman) encounter a mean junk man and a marsh full of leeches, as they also learn more about one another and their very different home lives. Just a lark at first, the boys' adventure evolves into a defining event in their lives. This film scored 89% on Rotten Tomatoes
