WIP! It’s been a while since I remastered and remoulded something. The original movie mould was a bit of a mess and was used to pull rubber stunt mag holders which were attached to the belt using leather loops, with the hero versions made in Kydex and cast rubber/practical mags. I decided to rework this to cast in two parts to give more options. In this case, like the Chan front mag holder available in my shop, these are rotocast resin and rigid foam filled making them super tough but extremely light. The belt attachment side will be tough resin and bolted on.

A few years ago, a load of us on the Judge Dredd Costume group put together something like this for Karl Urban when he was a guest at a show in the US. So now, I think I will offer these out on a limited run for Xmas. Note, these are rough mock-ups using some old castings I had laying around, the final versions will be much nicer. The armour plates come from the original film moulds and badges cast directly from screen used badges I owned, the spacer material is genuine Heathcote 6mm spacer material, same as used on the film vests. Each box frame will be high quality, sealed and will have a nice authenticity, numbered sticker on the back. Options could be clean or weathered using the same dusting techniques/materials used in production. Im working on pricing for the box frames right now, so will report back soon on a price.

So, who would be interested in Dredd, Anderson or a set of the two? Thoughts on box colour (Black, Red/black)?
