🎬 Our next film at Gillingham Community Cinema is H is for Hawk on Thursday 18th June at 7pm in the Vicarage Schoolrooms.

Based on Helen Macdonald’s bestselling memoir, this beautifully made film tells a moving story of grief, healing and the remarkable bond between a woman and a goshawk. Emotional, uplifting and visually stunning, it promises to be a very special evening.

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Gillingham Community Cinema has been awarded £1,500 through the Waitrose Green Token Scheme — and we’re incredibly grateful for their support.

A big thank you also to everyone who took the time to vote for us. Your support helps us continue bringing great films and shared experiences to our community.

This funding will make a real difference as we look to grow and enhance what we offer — including our plans for future live screenings.

We’re rounding off our 2025 season with something rather special — Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale on Thursday 18th December, and we’d love you to join us!

This much-loved story reaches its final chapter in grand style, full of warmth, wit and all the elegance you’d expect from the Crawley family. It’s the perfect festive-season outing, whether you’re a loyal Downton follower or simply fancy a beautifully made film to finish the year.
