By foot The Redoubt Fortress is situated on Royal Parade and is half a mile east of Eastbourne Pier. By Bus Buses 1, 2, 3, 9, and 10 all stop on Seaside Road. Buses 52 and 710 stop on Royal Parade. Parking On-street and Pay & Display parking is available. There are 3 disabled parking bays on Royal Parade. By car Eastbourne is just 35 minutes from Brighton, 30 minutes from Hastings, and 60 minutes from Tunbridge Wells.
