The Bede Film Society is Durham's oldest and cheapest cinema established and run by students at the College of St. We have a state of the art Dolby Digital cinema projector and sweetie booth with a huge variety of pic n' mix, popcorn and chocolates open every Saturday and Sunday in Caedmon Hall. We also show occasional alternative films on a Wednesday and throwbacks on a Thursday. Box office opens

The Bede Film Society are delighted to invite you to our annual FRESHERS' FILM SCREENING. And this year, it's a double-whammy! This SUNDAY 5TH OCTOBER, we will be screening Dead Poets Society (1989) and Fallen Angels (1995) in The Vern and JCR. All students holding a Freshers Wristband are granted FREE entry; the showing is open to HILD-BEDE SRC members ONLY. The box office opens 19:00 and the films will start at 19:15.

For clarification, the screening will take place on Sunday and not Friday (as some babbling social media managers would incorrectly suggest).

We hope to see you all there! :)

Here it is! Our first social of the year!

Inspired by one of Pixar’s great films, we will be travelling along the Bailey celebrating Cars’ Piston Cup final! 🏎️

Choose your winner (or whatever colour you have in your wardrobe) and prepare to defend your racer at the final!

I’ll see you at Cuth’s at 7:30!
